The Trouble with Geniuses, Part 1 & 2

"...Intellect and achievement are far from correlated" p. 90. We should not underestimate people based on their IQ's. IQ level doesn't guarantee success. Providing all students with good opportunities can have just as big an effect as IQ levels. Just because we have students with high IQ's doesn't guarantee that our students will be successful in life. Many of our children don't know how to navigate the academic system. We have to make sure that we fill in the gaps.
